1 year -

Another anniversary: is 1 year old!

Only in the last issue I told you about the 1 year anniversary of VHaquarell. This Monday it is the 1 year anniversary of my own website, which started a little later. My beginnings I still made on the platforms Etsy, as well as the Amazon Handmade program, but switched relatively early to my own website.

It was particularly important to me to have a freely designable site on which I can offer you full information about the colors, about me and also have the wonderful section of the artist highlights, in which I put in the foreground, what it's all about: your wonderful results and artwork, created with the handmade watercolor paints of VHaquarell and the expression you create with it. I am always especially happy to see how much fun and pleasure you have with watercolor painting.

In this one year, the website could also be improved little by little. More features have been added, more and more new content and information has enriched your visiting experience and in the blog posts you are regularly kept up to date on what's new.

I am very happy that you are part of this wonderful community and accompany the journey with VHaquarell and rediscover the pleasure of watercolor for yourself!

Brand logo and figurative mark

I am happy to announce that I have registered my first figurative mark.

I'm sure you've seen my logo before, which I use with an eagle flying high above the clouds. I have registered this logo as an official trademark and will use it for VHaquarell as well as for my other projects as an artist.

There is also a story behind this brand logo that I don't want to keep from you. As an artist, I was looking for a logo that also reflected my personal background, as well as my brand values that I stand for. I was born in the People's Republic of China and came to Germany at the age of 23 to find happiness in the western, democratic world. To be free like an eagle flying through the air without compromise and aesthetically guided by the stars. The clouds at the bottom of the logo, which I chose in a deliberately Asian style, represent my Chinese roots. On to priceless adventure, the eagle is making its way to the west and therefore looking to the left. The background of the logo is an alcohol ink work created with a very innovative technique. The eagle itself ider expression of something truthful. Truthfulness, uncompromisingness, invaluability, as well as innovation are the brand values I live by and together with my history they are all reflected in a logo.

I am very glad and happy to have started this journey and look forward even more to the future and to shape it creatively together with you. Art and creativity is for me also always a voice, for people whose voice is otherwise never heard. Expression and emotion united in a work on paper.

Here you can see again the logo as a picture, which I like to use next to my simple logo name of VHaquarell:
